Sherri Runighan
She graduated from Cosmetology in 1989 from Holland College. She continued her education at U.P.E.I and graduated in May 1998. She worked in the beauty industry as store manager for 7 years and sales consultant for 5 years for Maritime Beauty Supply. Sherri’s passion for the industry gave her the opportunity to purchase Allison’s in January 2010. Her goal is provide a relaxing atmosphere with quality services to all guests.
Tina Stewart
Redken Certified Colorist & Master Stylist. Tina graduated from Cosmetology in 1989, and has been working at Allison’s since 1990. She has 20 years experience in coloring, foiling, cutting, and achieving the best look for the client. In 2009 she achieved certification as a Redken Certified Colorist. She has attended many Hair Shows across Canada and this allows her to expand her knowledge to create new looks.
Grace Glover
She graduated from the Private Institute of Design & Esthetics. After graduation, she started working at Allison’s and has never looked back. She has completed the Redken Color 1 & 2 certification and is always updating her education, skills, and learning new techniques at various hair shows and seminars. Grace welcomes family and friends alike to come in and see her at Allison’s and always looks forward to meeting new clients and working with them to create an updated look that works for them.
Angela Rusk-MacPhee
She graduated from the Private Institute of Hair Design in May 2007. In her graduating year she achieved 1st place in the Total Look Competition. She began her career at Allison’s in 2007. She is a certified Master Stylist and has completed extensive courses in design, coloring, foiling, hair straightening and Bridal & Prom hair designs. In 2009 she had the pleasure of being part of a photo shoot. Angela welcomes all client to come visit her and to leave looking and feeling their best.
Laura Morgan
She graduated from the Private Institute of Hair and Aesthetics in 2010 with top honors. She has been working with Allison’s since 2009. She has completed the Redken Color 1, and has completed a course with Dennis Gebhart and Sam Villa.
Jody McLaren
Graduated from the Private Institute of Hair Design & Aesthetics in 2009 and joined Allison’s team in June 2010. Jody is always updating her education by attending hair shows and courses. She has completed the Redken Color 1 certificate. She looks forward to meeting all your hair needs.
Krista MacDonald
Has graduated from Canadian Aesthetics Academy in Toronto, Ontario, and is licensed with PEI Hairdressers Association. She has completed Redken Color 1 & 2, and is eager to further her knowledge and education with Redken. She has returned to PEI with her family and would like to welcome all new clients.
Kelley Boreland
Kelley is a Master Stylist & Colorist. She specializes in cutting natural curly hair. Kelley has 20 years experience with extra training with Redken, and The Pivot Point Chicago School. Her passion for the industry allows her to learn the latest trends and to create new looks for her clients. Kelley has had her work featured on an album cover for Wendy Neilson (world renouned opera singer). She would like to welcome present and new clients to join her at Allison’s.
Shannon O’Connell
Graduated from the L’Institut Jon Raymond in Moncton, N.B in 2001. She has been apart of the Allison’s team for 6 years. She has 10 years experience and has been educated with Bioelements, Aveda, Alexandra Body Sugaring, Tigi Make-up, Gehwol, Allpresan, Spa Rituals, and Repacage. She is Certified level1 Podology and has been trained in disinfection, sterilization, waxing, waxing and is able to asses skin, nail and Diabetic concerns. In 2010, Shannon received her training with the Skin Remodeling System. She will meet all esthetics needs to new and existing clients
Rhonda Turner
Is a graduate of Jon Raymond School of Aesthetics in Moncton, N.B. She has over 14 years experience in the business. She owned and operated her own business for 9 years. She has worked as a Spa Director at Resorts, as an Aesthetic Instructor at a Private Institute Aesthetic School. She has worked at a Holistic Spa in the Maritimes, and is trained in Advanced Medical Aesthetics as well as IPL (laser).
